Fortnum Live Music

12 Feb - 28 Mar

Join Fortnum & Mason at The Royal Exchange every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm for a series of exciting live music acts. Among the performers will be soulful singer Dee and her band – luring guests with mellow acoustics of old school R&B, jazz and blues – and the finely groomed The Gents.

Accompanying the launch of live music nights will be an array of new delicious dishes on the dinner menu.

To start, seared scallops paired with cauliflower, crispy pancetta and sprinkled with raisins and capers. Elsewhere on the menu, meat lovers will rejoice at tender Grouse Wellington and pappardelle with venison ragu, served with red cabbage and pecorino. To add a bit of theatrics to the dining experience, carabineros prawns are flambéed tableside before diners’ eyes.

To end on a sweet note, diners can feast on caramelised crêpe Suzettes prepared and flambéed tableside, or indulge in a decadent alcoholic float, such as The Queen and Henry, a sweet concoction of Fortnum’s London Gin, pineapple and honey syrup, maraschino, strawberry ice cream and black olive, topped with soda.

Open all day Monday to Friday, 7am – 11pm

In a series of original artworks commissioned especially for The Royal Exchange, illustrator Justyna Stasik explores the myriad forms of love in her distinctive, playful style. Stasik’s work expresses the emotion and energy of human activities and interactions, featuring bright colours, exaggerated proportions, relatable characters and familiar icons. Abstract shapes and squiggles add an element of the surreal in scenes that cleverly convey the duel reality of the physical and the imaginative worlds we all inhabit.

Visit The Royal Exchange to see Stasik’s The Closer We Get brightening up our main entrance until the end of March, and keep an eye on our journal and social channels to see the rest of the series as we unveil each piece throughout February and March.
