Working Lunch

Grab a bite with colleagues at one of our premium restaurants.

Returning to the City — after the long dog days of summer — feels pretty great. A new year at work. Fresh challenges and a fresh start. But alongside this comes a chance to savour once again the many culinary hotspots that London is so famous for. Celebrate your return to the office with a working lunch at one of The Royal Exchange’s luxury eateries.

Where better to start than in the breathtaking central courtyard of the Exchange, at the iconic Fortnum & Mason Bar and Restaurant (pictured above)? Put your heads together with colleagues over Fortnum’s fabulous lunch options, or take time out with a true British classic — the much-loved afternoon tea service. It’s good to be back.

Upstairs at Jang — with equally beautiful views of our Grade I-listed architecture — discover “Chef Dana’s beautifully curated Sushi Cabinet, a refined selection of freshly prepared maki, nigiri and sashimi,” the restaurant invites you. Top tip: it has an excellent working relationship with a glass of bubbly, “brilliantly priced from our friends at R de Ruinart and Moët & Chandon.”

After a hard day’s graft, there’s nothing that takes the edge off quite like this classic pairing: the Martini & Fries, now being served at The Libertine, Monday to Friday, 4–6pm. Often referred to as the “adult happy meal”, this pairing lets you settle into the award-winning bar, set in our historic vaults, to enjoy a Dirty or Dry Martini accompanied by crisp skin-on fries — all for £15.
