Of Fashion And Flowers

This July, The Royal Exchange bursts into life with two exciting new arrivals. Jen’s Plants and Florist brings bouquets of summer blooms to our Threadneedle Entrance, while Goff Courtney redefines contemporary fashion through circular, premium craftsmanship. With the World Cup and Wimbledon in full swing, we’re celebrating a summer of sport — and taking a hydration break of our own with the best luxury beverages to beat these sweltering heatwaves.

Our Threadneedle Street entrance has been given a new lease of life. If you’ve visited The Royal Exchange this month, you’ll have seen our iconic building filled with the wonderful scents and blooms of Jen’s Plants & Florist, who will be resident here every weekday. From creative bouquets to fresh hand-tied bunches and beautifully chosen plant pots, Jen offers a refreshing take on summer florals.

A warm welcome to our new fashion boutique. Goff Courtney is bringing circular, premium craftsmanship back to the heart of London commerce. The City of London label has a mission to pioneer contemporary sartorial solutions that are flattering and flexible: adding style, comfort and joy. Think traditional garments, modernised and reduced into size/age/gender-inclusive layering pieces, and statement neckwear.

Can’t stand the heat? Our luxury brands have you covered. With thermometer-melting weather this summer, we’re all having to find new ways to keep our cool. It’s the perfect excuse, then, to sink an iced cocktail, or bolt on a cold health smoothie to your morning routine. Let’s make the most of it — it will be November again soon enough — with The Royal Exchange’s July beverages.

With England through to the last sixteen and Centre Court alive with all the tradition of great British tennis, it’s hard not to get swept up in the excitement of a sporting July. Game on: our luxury brands are courting success with pitches that match the moment: from Wimbledon-inspired style to FIFA-themed treats and Engel’s new “summer of sport,” luxury is coming home this season.

Watchfinder & Co. is showcasing its collection of Rolex watches for those of you planning an adventurous summer escape. Described as “tough, practical timepieces that tick every box for the stylish traveller,” the collection pairs unbeatable performance with luxurious design. Visit the boutique to explore the range in person, from the Yacht-Master’s glamour to the iconic Submariner model, renowned for its 300m water resistance.

The Libertine is planning a second edition of its unforgettable dining experience, The Last Supper. Sign up here to be the first to hear when it launches.
