Nothing says “Christmas is here” quite like the launch of a new Georg Jensen collectable. This year’s edition of the brand’s annual mobile features a radiant star β elegantly designed by long-time collaborator Sanne Lund Traberg. The pendant hangs from a festive red ribbon and features a small zirconia ball at its centre for an extra touch of sparkle. The brand explains the design: “Its delicate, 18kt gold-plated form is inspired by the shimmering quilt of stars that light up the night sky on a dark, wintry evening.” Classy and nostalgic, its the ideal item under the tree β and on it .
For that film buff in your life, Malin+Goetz are celebrating the holidays with a nod to great American cinema. The founders, by their own admission, “have always been design-obsessed” β and each Christmas release aims to draw inspiration from artists around the world. Its 2024 offering is a shout out to the pair’s “go-to comfort films and quirky, yet memorable American filmmaking.” The collection is built around an elevated eccentricity with strong, characteristic colours. The idea is you experience the same warm feeling you get from a truly excellent movie, or “a meaningful holiday with loved ones.β
Jo Malone London’s Advent Calendar is back. The holiday favourite returns with a classic, festive design to add a little razzle-dazzle to December. The brand enthuses: “Get set for Christmas with the British fragrance & lifestyle houseβs classic countdown, filled with 25 surprises.” Each of the drawers βΒ complete with beautiful decorative images βΒ holds a timeless, seasonal cologne, miniature candle or bath & body favourite β as well as a travel candle and a 30ml festive fragrance.
The perfect gift for adrenaline junkies: a new Bremont. In partnership with the eponymous photographer, alpinist and award-winning filmmaker, the Terra Nova Jimmy Chin Limited Edition is a vital addition to any collector’s case or alpine backpack. It comes available in either full 18ct rose gold or 904L steel and rose gold (limited to 15 and 100 pieces respectively). “These timepieces are inspired by Jimmy Chinβs adventurous spirit and passion for exploration,” says the brand, “and designed for those who embrace the outdoors and the thrill of adventure.”
To celebrate Boodles’ sponsorship of the “Constable Haywain Exhibition,” the brand’s artisans have created three unique artworks of their own β each inspired by England’s greatest landscape painter. Constable’s unique approach to light, colour, atmosphere and classicism is remade in jewellery, as this pendant does Stratford Mill. “Labradorite captures the blues and purply greys of the heavens. Above and below the stone, dozens of brilliant cut diamonds suggest solid dabs and translucent lines of cloud,” Boodles explains.
