Santa’s Luxury Letter
The nice list.
We’ve all been so good this year β but what do we actually want for Christmas? (And more importantly, what are we going to give?) Why not start with quality: The Royal Exchange’s curated offering of the best names in global luxury spans fashion and jewellery to timepieces, leather goods and high-end luggage. What connects our brands is their recognised excellence: whether that’s a historic sense of craftsmanship, attention to detail, or cutting-edge style. You’re guaranteed to find the perfect gift whatever you choose. But to help you do so, we’ve put together the pick of our favourite potential gifts β the nicest list of all.

Let’s start with some comfort and joy. Jo Malone London’s new aroma celebrates the spirit of the season: in its Fir And Artemisia Cologne, the eponymous ingredients combine with supple leather to create an evocative winter scent. And why not make it even more special by heading in-store to add a touch of festive magic to your gift box? On the 11th and 18th of December, the brand’s stylists will finish your gift with a bespoke Merry Christmas stamp in red or green wax.
Crockett & Jones‘ new Leather Goods Collection is an exciting first for the brand. The release sees the footwear label offer a selection of accessories, each of which is designed to complement its fine collection of Goodyear-welted shoes and boots. Menswear enthusiasts can expect the same exacting standards that have sustained the brand over its 145-year history in this range of wallets and card holders: “made from skins selected from the very best tanneries, each piece is expertly stitched in the UK,” it explains.
The Bremont Supermarine 300M GMT Collection is the perfect gift for adventurers and thrill-seekers. Adrenaline-soaked exploration informs the design of the timepiece, ensuring resilience and longevity. And it’s stylish too, as the label outlines: “Comprised of three distinct designs with colours inspired by the diverse and unforgiving rugged landscapes of Iceland, where the watch has been tested in extreme conditions, the 300m water resistant GMT is available in βTundraβ Green, βGlacierβ Blue and βEmberβ Red.”

Montblanc’s Happy Holidays Tote has been crafted to the theme of a magical winter wonderland. Made from an exquisite ivory canvas embroidered in delicate black, the bag shows an alpine scene β alongside its trademark Montblanc emblem in a palladium-finish ring. Like all of the label’s designs, it’s eminently functional: “the main compartment is organised with zipped pockets, two open pockets, and a pen loop,” says the brand, while “a leather strap is included for small accessories, ensuring everything has its place.”
Boodles’ “Florentine Dolce Vita” is the brand’s newest collection of statement rings. Shining and colourful, the release is inspired by “the zest and glamour of the iconic Dolce Vita era in Italy.” Vibrant and bold, these pieces are each a “playful celebration of Italian life,” marked by Boodles’ eye for flair and construction. Our favourite? It’s hard to choose, but perhaps this Florentine design ring, set with a cushion shape tanzanite and blue enamel in 18 carat French gold.
What better gift for a style icon than one of the most iconic watches ever made? Watchfinder & Co. presents the Omega Speedmaster: the watch that went to the moon. Released in 2004 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landings, this Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch “swaps the all-black dial of the classic version for a ‘panda’ style colour scheme, making it stand out amongst the endless variations of this legendary timepiece.” Visit the brand’s Royal Exchange boutique to discover more.
A striking new addition to the TUMI Alpha collection of high-performance business and travel pieces, the Reflective TUMI Jacquard collection offers a unique take on festive sparkle. The eye-catching reflective print with an oversized logo placement adds a fresh and modern spin on key products such as the Continental Dual Access Carry-on and Double Expansion Satchel. TUMI notes how “the bold design element adds a contemporary edge to the iconic logo, providing the perfect blend of style and functionality for the modern traveller.”
