GOFF COURTNEY
A warm welcome to this innovative City of London “softwear” label.
Goff Courtney is bringing circular, premium craftsmanship back to the heart of London commerce. The City of London label has a mission to pioneer contemporary sartorial solutions that are flattering and flexible: adding style, comfort and joy. Think traditional garments, modernised and reduced into size/age/gender-inclusive layering pieces — and statement neckwear accessories.

“Taking a reductionist approach, tailored garments are distilled into one-of-a-kind statement accessories to enhance daily outfits while also being mood-boosters; helping people make their mark,” the brand explains. The collection encompasses tailored scarves and aprons, textile necklaces, corsages, collars and capes, boleros and bibs: “zhuzh-wear,” for hybrid lifestyles, changeable climes (and waistlines).
Founder Yvonne Goff Courtney’s instinct for reimagining clothing began during her punk teens and was recently reignited after becoming a Finalist in the Vogue X Barbour Centenary Design Competition (2022) for her spliced gilet-scarf concept, later featured in Vogue and exhibited at Selfridges. Based in the City, she follows in the footsteps of her grandfather, who ran a significant UK furrier near St Paul’s.
