Nestled on the north mezzanine of The Royal Exchange, the bar serves imaginative twists on vintage classics, with bar manager Mihai Burca and his team taking inspiration from the revolutionary characters, movements and flavours which marked the decade. Alongside these, the drinks menu features a handful of modern cocktails crafted with spirits from young and emerging brands and producers. A menu of German and Austrian bar food is available from lunch through the afternoon until late, with live musical performances taking place on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in our dedicated entertainment lounge, Engel Live, influenced by the vibrant cabaret scene of the time.
