The Lord Mayor’s Appeal’s ambition to A Better City for All aims to have a transformational impact on people’s lives by bringing together businesses, neighbouring communities, employees and charities to find solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues. This year, it has partnered with five inspirational charities — The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, National Numeracy, Place2Be, OnSide and Samaritans in order to deliver groundbreaking programmes which will not only change people’s lives but save them.
