Summertime, when the living is easy: when the wine flows and dining is at its most delicious. It’s a time to unwind and enjoy the finer things in life. And where better than here at The Royal Exchange, as our luxury restaurants serve up sizzling summer delights to enjoy. Dig into August in all its glory.

When it comes to indulgence, Engel means business. Our mezzanine bar is a riot of good vibes, good food and good music β€”Β and from the 2nd, it’s turning all of this up to eleven with a Boozy Summer Brunch. Every Saturday, the restaurant invites you to “a two-course menu priced at Β£34 or three courses at Β£39. Expect your glasses to stay full, with unlimited Prosecco or spritzes (yes, unlimited!)”…all accompanied by live music in the afternoon for that perfect summer atmosphere.

Oyster Week is here: from the 4th to the 8th, head to our award-winning bar The Libertine to enjoy, it says, “an exquisite selection of fresh oysters and classic pairings from our dedicated menu.” Between 3pm and 5pm you’ll get the day’s best market oysters served on ice with shallot vinaigrette and lemon β€” six for Β£29, or twelve for Β£55. Savour a pint of Guinness or a glass of Rathfinny English Sparkling Wine and two oysters for a tenner β€” or get a bottle with twelve oysters for Β£60: the perfect midweek afternoon.
