Discover Aspinal of London’s glamorous new range of sunglasses for men and women, inspired by the jet set culture of iconic Italian destinations such as Amalfi, Portofino and the Riviera

06 June, 2019

Luxury British accessories brand Aspinal of London may be best known for its stylish range of bags, luggage and leather travel accessories, however, the brand has recently added another glamorous travel necessity to its repertoire, partnering with licensee partner Eyespace to launch its debut collection of women’s and men’s sunglasses, available at The Royal Exchange boutique.

Drawing inspiration from designs worn by celebrities, glitterati and fashion icons in jet set destinations from the 1960s through to today, each pair features Aspinal branding including the shield and brand name, along with the lion’s head emblem. Materials used in the collection include Mazzucchelli acetate, which is hand-selected from the renowned Italian manufacturer’s portfolio and polished to the highest grade possible.

The two designs created for men are both versatile styles that make a chic addition to any summer outfit and will stand out among any stylish international crowd. The Navigator metal sunglasses with pilot eye-shape are a sartorial classic, available in masculine matt black or gold-tone metal, and the Milano acetate sunglasses are a timeless tribute to retro men’s eyewear, characterised by a super-polished D-shape frame, and available in suave black or vintage tortoiseshell.

For women, the line includes five styles, ranging from the flamboyant Amalfi design, to the bold 1950s-inspired Riviera model and the elegant, cat-eye Capri frame. The Verona style features a softened cat-eye shape, and a leather panel on the temples, while the Portofino style is a contemporary and feminine take on the aviator frame, perfect for ensuring you look effortlessly cool for a jaunt along the Italian coast.

All sunglasses within the collection are suitable for prescription lenses, and with such a refined selection to choose from, you can call in to the boutique at The Royal Exchange to find the perfect pair for your summer holiday.

All styles are £165 and available from The Royal Exchange boutique
