TABLE TALK

Interior designer Martin Brudnizki on adding a unique flair to your Christmas table

‘Colour, pattern and personal touches make a great table setting. Christmas is always about excess, so I tend to lean towards this when dressing my table. Bringing together items that are personal to you makes for a much more interesting tablescape and opens up conversations. I mix and match my items but the underlying theme is that they are all objects that bring me joy. I like jewel tones, and seasonal flowers and greenery bring a sense of whimsy. I grew up in Stockholm so Christmas was always magical with snow and Scandinavian traditions – I still look to that when searching for inspiration.’ Martin Brudnizki, interior designer.
